Job summary

The Medication Assistant (MA) at Good Samaritan Society in Olathe, KS provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. Duties include medication administration, vital signs, documentation, and support with dining and activities.

Qualifications

• State CMA/TMA certifications as required for each state.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document outcomes related to resident care, medications, and care-related concerns.
• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse and obtain vital signs.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry to maintain clean living areas.
