Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Bloomfield, NE seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. This role requires CMA/CNA certification per state requirements, minimum 18 years old, and prior long-term care experience.

Travel within a 75-mile radius to support multiple locations; scheduling includes minimum monthly hours and one weekend shift per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated and document care outcomes.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and contribute to a positive dining experience.
