Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, seeks a dedicated Central Scheduling Representative to join our King of Prussia, PA team. The CSR registers patients, schedules appointments by phone, and delivers service with a smile in a patient-centered environment.

This part-time, on-site role requires outstanding customer service, accuracy, and HIPAA-compliant handling of records across multiple locations. Full training provided and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in call centers, retail, or hospitality.
• Experience with private health insurance and workers’ compensation preferred.
• Experience coordinating appointments and managing scheduling in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication with patients, families, providers and staff.
• Proficient in medical software and EMR systems; accurate data entry.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple phone lines efficiently.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients to determine urgency and schedule appointments promptly.
• Interview patients and enter accurate information into the patient management system.
• Coordinate appointments for 19 physicians across 16 locations in PA/NJ.
• Verify insurance, referrals, authorizations, and co-pays.
• Confirm appointments and respond to patient inquiries courteously.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist other departments as needed when time permits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
