Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations, display and maintain inventory of greeting cards and related products, and interact with store staff during daytime hours. The role includes using a company-issued tablet and flexible hours, with seasonal increases around holidays.

Starting pay is $13.50 per hour with increases to $14.30 after 6 months and $15.00 after one year. Training and a 401(k) with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and able to read, speak and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without assistance.
• Access to reliable transportation for multi-location routes.
• Able to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandize, and organize product orders.
• Display product in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate questions or concerns to management about service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with effective time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, and product relocation as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a tablet.
• Ability to work alone or in a team.
