Forsyth Tech Community College-Winston Salem, NC is seeking a part-time CDL Driver Trainer to lead the classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction for the CDL program. The role requires hands-on teaching, strong communication, and adherence to safety and program policies.

The ideal candidate has a valid CDL, 3 years of on-the-road experience within the last 5 years, and the ability to administer tests and evaluate student performance in alignment with DOT and college standards.

Qualificações

• CDL with the appropriate class level for the role.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
• MVR and background check including a drug screen.
• DOT physical and drug screen required.
• Ability to pass road test and maintain Medical Examiner Certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Train students in trucking and driving across roads and ranges.
• Administer written tests and evaluate grades.
• Maintain accurate student progress and attendance records.
• Maintain a safe learning environment for all participants.
• Adhere to federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
