The role requires teaching CDL topics, meeting NC regulatory standards, and may involve day, evening, and weekend sessions.

Qualifications

• Five years recent driving experience as a CDL-A Truck Driver
• Meet or exceed NC regulatory requirements to conduct driver training in classroom, on field, and on road as per 19A NCAC 03J.0501
• Teaching and/or industry training experience in Truck Driving topics in various formats

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach Truck Driver training courses in classroom, on field, and on road formats
• Instruct topics and techniques required in the regulated curriculum
• Administer CDL testing as a third-party examiner after NC certification
