McCoy’s is seeking a part-time delivery driver to transfer lumber, building materials, and supplies to customers and job sites. The role involves loading, routing, collecting COD payments, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include customer service liaison tasks, paperwork handling, and assisting in yard operations. Requires valid license, forklift certification, and ability to work across varying weather and hours. Starting pay is $23.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English to communicate with the public.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle operated.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to deliver lumber and building materials to customers.
• Collect payments for COD orders and record customer information.
• Verify order details and obtain customer signatures on delivery tickets.
• Use navigation tools to locate addresses efficiently.
• Keep delivery records up to date and organize required paperwork.
• Provide courteous customer service and assist with complaints.
• Load and unload materials safely and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform routine safety checks and operate a forklift when needed.
• Assist in yard/warehouse duties and participate in trainings.
