Job summary

McCoy Corporation is seeking a delivery driver responsible for transporting lumber, building materials, and hardware from the store to customers and job sites. You will load vehicles, verify orders, collect COD payments, and maintain accurate records while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a forklift. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with on-the-job training completing levels 1 and 2.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Be able to read and speak English sufficiently for public interaction.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for the vehicle operated.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training and positional levels 1–2.

Responsibilities

• D delivers lumber, building materials, hardware to customers’ homes, sites, or businesses.
• Collects COD payments and records customer information per SOPs.
• Verifies orders and obtains customer signatures on delivery tickets.
• Uses navigation tools to locate addresses efficiently.
• Records delivery information for tracking and paperwork.
• Loads vehicles safely and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
• Provides courteous customer service and resolves complaints with management.
• Operates a forklift and conducts routine safety checks as required.
• Performs other duties and assists in yard/warehouse as needed.
