Job summary

The role requires a valid CDL, DOT qualifications, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Overtime on nights, weekends, and holidays may be needed; training is provided and safety standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read/speak English sufficiently to interact with customers.
• Valid driver's license for vehicle operated and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles to deliver lumber, building materials, hardware, and related supplies to customers’ homes, sites, or businesses.
• Collects payment on COD orders and records customer information per SOP.
• Verifies order details and obtains customer signatures on delivery tickets.
• Uses GPS/navigation tools to locate delivery addresses efficiently.
• Maintains delivery paperwork and logs; assists in yard/warehouse as needed.
• Loads vehicle safely; performs routine safety checks on vehicles according to guidelines.
• Acts as customer service liaison and resolves complaints with store personnel.
• Performs other related duties and complies with safety standards.
