Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library and information science from an accredited program or bachelor’s with MLS/MLIS eligibility within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Processes new, donated, and existing library materials and maintains catalog records.
• Provides reference and readers advisory services to the public.
• May plan and present adult and juvenile programming as requested.
• Performs basic cataloging and routine circulation tasks.
• Assists patrons in using library services, resources and technology.
• Interprets and enforces library policies and may supervise staff and volunteers.
