Miami-Dade Public Library System's Main Library, 101 W. Flagler St., Miami, FL, seeks an experienced librarian to supervise the cataloging and processing units within Collection Development and Technical Services.

The role conducts original and copy cataloging in multiple languages and formats, imports records into Polaris ILS, applies AACR2, RDA, and MARC 21, and mentors staff to maintain quality records.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science or related program from an ALA-accredited graduate school.
• Two years of professional librarian experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cataloging and processing units; supervise and train staff.
• Direct and organize workflow; ensure quality control of records.
• Perform original and copy cataloging in multiple languages/formats.
• Import records into Polaris ILS; maintain bibliographic, item, and holdings records.
