Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Front End preferred.
• Experience in natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Walks the store prior to each shift to be aware of promotional items and promotions.
• Processes customer transactions at the front registers and ensures accuracy of cash handling.
• Receives payments by cash, card, or other methods; issues receipts and refunds as needed.
• Operates cash register and POS system to record purchases and calculate costs.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service; maintain a clean checkout area.
• Assist customers and respond to inquiries; support team goals and maintain accountability.
