Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Front End department processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions at the front registers.
• Maintain proper cash control and accuracy.
• Assist customers and maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Operate cash register and scan items with POS system.
• Greet customers and respond to needs.
• Keep checkout areas clean and organized.
• Issue coupons and rain checks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
