Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Cashier to efficiently process customer transactions at the front registers. You will maintain cash controls, assist customers, and keep a friendly, energetic demeanor while following Front End procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years of grocery retail experience preferred. Knowledge of MS Office and POS systems is a plus. Flexible hours and a positive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Front End.
• Experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Greet customers and respond to needs promptly.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and assist as needed.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, rain checks or change.
• Handle coupons and rain checks and safeguard assets.
