Job summary

The Michaels Companies is hiring a Part Time PT Cashier Customer Service Team Member in D'Iberville, MS. You will deliver friendly service, help customers find items, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience with proper cash handling.

You’ll engage customers in our Rewards program and credit cards, assist with omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, and participate in truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery to keep shelves in stock.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least sixteen years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and locate products.
• Provide a fast checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll as needed.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms (POGs) and store recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
