Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Mesa, AZ is seeking a part-time Caregiver to support residents in daily living activities from 6 AM to 2 PM on Sundays and Mondays. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, transportation, and activities while upholding dignity and safety, following care plans and supervisor directions.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to obtain or maintain first aid certification and a CNA if possible.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over or valid work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurses Aid certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification.
• Background clearances per government regulations.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals and activities.
• Provide mealtime assistance with serving and clearing.
• Assist and transport residents to meals and activities safely.
• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Encourage participation in daily activities.
• Lead residents in meaningful activities.
• Handle laundry and other duties as assigned.
• Manage oxygen tanks per MD orders.
• Document information and report changes to supervisor.
• Respond to resident alerts and emergencies.
• Assist with drills to ensure safety.
