Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Granbury, TX seeks a compassionate caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a senior client recovering from a fall. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, and safety in the client’s own home.

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and attentive caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a senior client in Granbury, Texas.

The ideal candidate is patient, safety-conscious, and experienced in assisting seniors with daily activities. The client is recovering from a recent fall and needs gentle assistance with personal care, mobility, household tasks, and everyday routines. The caregiver must be attentive to the client's comfort and take care when assisting with movement and personal care.

Work Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Thursday: 11:30 AM–2:30 PM
• Friday: 10:30 AM–2:30 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Location:

Client's home in Granbury, TX 76048

Applicants must be available to work the scheduled days and hours consistently.

Compensation and Support

• $15.50–$17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

The caregiver will assist the client with daily activities and help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment. Duties include:

• Assisting with showering, dressing, and grooming
• Providing gentle assistance while being mindful of areas of tenderness related to the client's recovery
• Supporting safe mobility and monitoring for potential fall risks
• Providing reminders for prescribed exercises, as directed by the client's care plan
• Preparing meals and assisting with meal-related tasks
• Making the client's bed and performing light housekeeping
• Assisting with laundry and maintaining a tidy living environment
• Providing transportation to appointments and outings, as needed
• Checking and organizing the client's mail
• Offering companionship and encouraging independence
• Observing and promptly reporting changes in the client's condition or safety concerns to the office and appropriate care team

The client's wounds are being managed by a home health nurse. The caregiver is expected to follow the established care plan and report concerns rather than perform wound care or other clinical tasks outside the authorized scope of the position.

Qualifications

We're looking for applicants who have:

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Experience assisting seniors with personal care and daily living activities
• A valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• The ability to safely assist with mobility and reduce fall risks
• Strong observation and communication skills
• A gentle, patient, and compassionate approach to care
• Dependability and the ability to follow care instructions
• Willingness to complete required training and onboarding

Candidates must be able to commute to the client's home in Granbury, Texas, and work the scheduled shifts.
