Job summary

Heron Pointe is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in our senior living community. You will assist with daily activities, monitor comfort, and document observations to support high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, strong English communication, and a genuine desire to support seniors. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is valued to help our residents live with dignity and joy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior caregiving experience is preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience valued.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of assisted living regulations and resident rights preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Help with meals, snacks, fluids, and feeding as needed.
• Support ambulation and positioning; monitor comfort and safety.
• Record vital signs and document changes accurately.
• Report changes to Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care and observations per Mosaic policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Resident Care & Support
• Provide compassionate, hands‑on care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Support residents with ambulation, positioning, and range‑of‑motion activities.
• Monitor residents’ comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns.
• Health Monitoring & Documentation
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output accurately.
• Report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status to the Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care, observations, and resident interactions in compliance with Mosaic policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
