Job summary

Spruce Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care in Florence, Oregon seeks a Caring Caregiver to build meaningful connections, provide hands-on assistance with daily living, and help residents live each day with dignity.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior caregiving experience is valued. English communication, patience, and teamwork are essential, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Support residents with ambulation, positioning, and range-of-motion activities.
• Monitor residents’ comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output accurately.
• Report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status to the Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care and observations in compliance with Mosaic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage residents in activities and social interaction.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly valued.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support seniors.
• Knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and related regulations preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
