Job summary

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital is seeking a Part-time Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join our Echo department. The role performs diagnostic echocardiograms, transesophageal studies, and related imaging, while mentoring other team members.

You must hold RDCS/ACS/RCS credentials as listed, possess an associate degree or equivalent in diagnostic ultrasound, and be able to work day shifts with 20 weekly hours at SITE Wayne.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC) upon hire.
• RDCS or RCS credentials (cardiac) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations (2D imaging, spectral/color Doppler, m-mode).
• Possibly TEEs and other advanced echo studies.
• Mentor/precept sonographers or students as needed.
