Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Ultrasound specialist to perform comprehensive exams including 2D, Doppler, and transesophageal studies. You will also train and guide medical staff in technique and cardiac pathology.

The role may involve mentoring Ultrasonographers and students to ensure high standards of imaging. The position requires ARDMS credentials, BLS/ARC upon hire, and an associate degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimal as gained at student level.
• BLS (AHA) or ARC certification upon hire required.
• ARDMS certifications including Cardiac RDCS and Cardiac RCS required.
• ARDMS Breast and Abdomen/ObGyn credentials within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations including 2D imaging, spectral and color Doppler, m-mode, transesophageal studies, exercise and pharmacologic protocols.
• Instruct medical personnel in technical performance, clinical application, and cardiac pathology.
• May mentor/precept Ultrasonographers and/or students in the department.
