Job summary

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital seeks a skilled cardiac ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic echocardiography, including 2D imaging, Doppler, m-mode, transesophageal studies, and pharmacologic tests. The role includes teaching clinical application and potentially mentoring students or colleagues.

Requirements include an associate degree in diagnostic ultrasound and ARDMS RDCS/RCS certification, with BLS upon hire. Part-time, on-site position at Wayne Hospital.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• ARDMS or equivalent cardiac registry certification required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations including 2D imaging, spectral and color Doppler, m-mode.
• Provide instruction on technical performance and clinical interpretation related to cardiac ultrasound.
• May mentor/precept fellow ultrasonographers or students.

Education

Associate degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound

RDCS/RCS/ARDMS cardiac certification (or equivalent)
