Job summary

Dutchess Cannabis in Markham, IL is seeking Part-time Dispensary Associates to guide customers through the cannabis purchasing experience. You will make informed product recommendations, describe products accurately, and operate with high accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail cannabis experience is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Cannabis POS software experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must comply with cannabis industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class customer experience while maintaining store operations and compliance.
• Guide customers through sales transactions with informed advice.
• Ensure sales floor is stocked, displays up-to-date, and store is well maintained.
• Fulfill and pack customer orders and move orders to pickup area.
• Promote a positive, customer-service oriented work environment and follow policies.
• Continuously develop product knowledge to provide accurate information.
• Respond to customer inquiries in person, online, and by phone.
• Accurately use the POS system and handle cash.
• Data entry of customer information and documentation.
• Support team and meet performance goals.
• Verify paperwork, IDs, and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in in-store operations like merchandising and inventory.
• Report hazards to Store Leadership and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
