BARNES & NOBLE COLLEGE, a part of the campus bookstore network, seeks a Part-Time Supervisor to lead daily campus store operations and coach staff delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role collaborates with store leadership to drive priorities and uphold service standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position emphasizes customer focus, training of new team members, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for students, faculty, and alumni.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Ability to coach and lead in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and coach team members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and act as Manager-on-Duty when needed.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and POS transactions.
• Maintain clean, organized store and safety standards.
