Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Lexington, KY. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, supporting residents and campus partners with security procedures and incident response.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in security, a high school diploma, and comfort with basic tech. The position emphasizes flexible hours, customer service, and potential progression toward full-time security

Qualifications

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Preferred: ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
Preferred: comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Preferred: customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and following campus procedures.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, campus event support, and reporting of maintenance or other concerns.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents to Allied Universal supervision and campus contacts.
