Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer in Lexington, KY. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain professional communication with site contacts and responders.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor credentials according to site procedures, reporting concerns as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations with incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
