Experience And Qualifications

• Act 34 Clearance, Act 151 Clearance, FBI Clearance (self-paid).
• Drug Screening (self-paid).
• Letter of Interest, Resume and Application through the District website.
• Act 126 & Act 71 Training Certificates.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Organizes students into orderly lines for purchasing food and sees that they go to assigned tables.
• Helps students develop and observe proper dining habits, both in terms of etiquette and nutrition.
• Assists younger students with use of utensils when needed.
• Organizes students for orderly disposal of food waste, trays and utensils.
• Organizes groups for orderly dismissal from the lunchroom.
• Circulates among the tables during the meal period so as to be available to help children who need help and to resolve any minor problems that arise.
• Informs any attending teacher at once of any serious infraction of disciplinary rules by students.
• Help clean tables when part of school procedure.
• Calls immediately for the Principal/designee in the event of any argument involving more than two students; any incident involving physical confrontation; and any incident that appears to be of more than momentary disruption.
• Enter student attendance in the computer in the absence of the school/café aide.
• All other duties assigned by supervisor.
