Job summary

Andover Public Schools is seeking a dedicated cafeteria worker to monitor students during meal service and help maintain cleanliness and order in the dining area. You will support the flow of meals and assist with service under supervision of the principal and the Food and Nutrition Services Department.

The role emphasizes safe food handling, adherence to meal pattern rules, and dependable teamwork in a school setting.

• Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures for food service.
• Mature ability to use judgment and be dependable.

Job description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Responsible for monitoring students during meal service. Assists with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, assists with recycling, and assists with the flow of meal service. Work is performed under the general supervision of the principal with consultation from the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
