Responsibilities

• Uses recipes to prepare food for service.
• Operates equipment such as slicer, grinder, mixer, can opener, dishwasher, stove, oven, steam table, POS system, calculator, steamer, kettle, grill, mechanical chopper, and pulper.
• Serves meals using approved serving utensils ensuring correct portions.
• Follows all food safety guidelines including washing hands, wearing gloves, time‑stamping food, and FIFO rotation.
• Keeps work areas and tables clean and free of debris, practicing clean‑as‑you‑go.
• Participates in daily facility cleaning including tables, dishes, pots & pans, equipment, and smallwares.
• Assists in cleaning cafeteria tables and seats between meal periods and at day end.
• Performs additional duties as assigned to support food service operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Uses recipes to prepare food for service.
• Operates equipment as necessary in the course of daily duties including slicer, grinder, mixer, can opener, dishwasher, stove, oven, steam table, POS system, calculator, steamer, kettle, grill, mechanical chopper, and pulper.
• Serves meals using approved serving utensils ensuring portion sizes and procedures are followed.
• Follows all food safety guidelines as directed such as washing hands, wearing gloves, time‑stamping food, and rotating using First In First Out.
• Exhibits a clean‑as‑the‑y‑go mentality for keeping work areas and tables clean and free of food debris.
• Participates in daily cleaning of the facility to include worktables, dishes, pot & pans, equipment, and smallwares.
• Assists in cleaning cafeteria tables and chairs/seats between meal periods and at the end of the day.
• Additional duties as assigned, in support of food service operations.
