Job summary

Jeff Rouse Swim & Sports Center is seeking a Cafe Shift Leader for a part-time, non-exempt role in Stafford, VA. You will manage front-of-house service, handle cash and POS transactions, operate the smoothie station, and ensure timely food and beverage service.

The position requires ability to multitask, greet guests, upsell items, and assist kitchen staff as needed. Shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays, with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience with POS systems and handling cash accurately.
• Ability to read and interpret orders and safety guidelines in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and POS system.
• Operate Smoothie Station.
• Engage with members and guests to provide friendly and professional service.
• Upsell food and beverage items.
• Open and close the Front of the House.
• Organize, stock, and control inventory.
• Assist the Back of the House team as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in FOH and cafe area.
