Job summary

The position is part of the American Girl Dallas cafe team, with events and store-wide activities often requiring collaboration. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with restaurant computer systems are beneficial.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume and/or fine dining restaurant is preferred.
• Banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant computer systems is preferred.
• This is a physically demanding role; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and explain menu and beverage options.
• Know menu items and ingredients; advise guests with allergies.
• Address customer concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct food and beverage service, upsell, deliver orders, and manage checks using Infogenesis system.
• Follow food safety guidelines and health regulations.
• Support teammates and assist with events and store projects.
