Job summary

American Girl Retail in Dallas, TX is seeking a dynamic Part-Time Server (30 hours, benefitted) to deliver food and beverages and provide an outstanding dining experience in our cafe. The role requires excellent communication and the ability to handle customer requests quickly and graciously.

Two years of high-volume restaurant experience is preferred; ServSafe certification is a plus. You must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and you should enjoy working with

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification, preferred.
• One to two years of experience in a high volume and/or fine dining restaurant, preferred.
• Banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Experience working with children, preferred.
• Ease of use with restaurant computer systems, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and inform them of food and beverage options.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and ingredients; assist guests with allergies.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Execute service tasks including upselling and timely delivery of orders.
• Follow food safety guidelines and assist team with events and larger parties.
