Job summary
Sentral Services, Montgomery County, MD, is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Engineer to manage day‑to‑day maintenance of multiple commercial properties. Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Experience in commercial maintenance
- Ability to use work order systems and track time
- Able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
- On-call after-hours availability including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check
Responsibilities
- Perform daily preventive maintenance inspections on properties
- Complete assigned work orders promptly
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues
- Comply with state and local safety codes
- Plumbing repairs and fixture maintenance
- Electrical work on panels and wiring
- Fire alarm and sprinkler system checks
- HVAC maintenance and filter changes
- Roofing basics and lighting maintenance
- Supervise contractors as needed
- Operable and safe access for staff and tenants
