Pay: $23.00 - $28.20 per hour
The Maintenance Technician supports the daily operation and upkeep of commercial properties by performing hands‑on maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This role works closely with engineering and property management to ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently while delivering responsive tenant service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Complete preventive maintenance and document work in the work order system
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and grounds; identify and resolve safety or maintenance issues
- Respond to tenant service requests and emergency calls in a timely manner
- Maintain fire and life safety systems, including alarms and emergency equipment
- Perform general building upkeep such as lighting, doors, painting, and minor carpentry
- Support seasonal operations and participate in an on‑call rotation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; trade or technical training preferred
- 2+ years of commercial building maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently
- Basic computer skills and experience with work order systems
- CFC Universal Certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days
