Job summary

Salt Lake Community College is seeking part-time Peer Mentors to support the Bruin Scholar Program by engaging with students and coordinating social and academic activities. Qualifications

• Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher.
• Must be a current SLCC student.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Eligible for Work-Study (FAFSA).
• Part-time, 10–20 hours per week; schedule negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent follow-up with Bruin Scholars in locating resources and advising.
• Plan and execute activities to encourage student learning and engagement.
• Familiarity with SLCC enrollment and registration processes.
• Assist with orientation holds using Banner and MySuccess.
• Track student interactions and report outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the coordinator.
