Job summary

Salt Lake Community College is seeking Part-time Peer Mentors to support Bruin Scholar Program Coordinators and students. This role focuses on student interactions, event planning, and helping coordinators stay connected with students.

Responsibilities include follow-up with students, creating activities, understanding enrollment processes, and tracking interactions. Schedule is negotiable, but office hours must be covered; experience with Banner/MySuccess is a plus; current SLCC student

Qualifications

Must be a current SLCC student.
Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Preference will be given to Bruin Scholars who are current members.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide continuous follow-up with Bruin Scholars to assist enrollment and resource access.
Research and create activities to encourage learning and involvement in SLCC.
Familiarize with SLCC enrollment and registration processes.
Assist with Orientation holds using Banner and MySuccess.
Track student interactions.
Other duties as assigned by the coordinator.
