Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours within branch hours.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds solo and heavier with assistance.
• Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience from product selection to order entry.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style to email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipped products.
• Prepare backorders and stock received.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Maintain branch appearance per Grainger standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
