W.W. Grainger, Inc. is hiring a Branch Sales Associate for the 1st shift, part-time (~20+ hrs/wk). You will greet walk-in customers, drive sales, and provide excellent service while coordinating with the store team.

The role includes warehouse tasks, order entry, stock replenishment, and adherence to safety guidelines. Candidates should be flexible within branch hours and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, and loading the customer vehicle.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in-person interactions.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping product.
• Prepare backorders and stock replenishment.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and navigate store systems.
• Maintain branch appearance and safety compliance.
