Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper (20 hours per week) in Newport Beach, CA, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role supports the Galway Family Office team, handling accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll processing, and year-end tax package prep for high-net-worth clients.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, familiarity with Agilink or DataFaction is a plus, and an accounting degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience; experience in an entertainment business management firm is preferred.
• Experience with Agilink and/or DataFaction software is a plus.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data with a critical eye.
• Professional demeanor and clear communication.
• Thorough knowledge of financial record-keeping methods, procedures and practices.
• Understanding of a chart of accounts, mortgages and leases, payroll taxes, and use of divisions and journals.
• Detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform and review cash flow reports and cash balances.
• Prepare and review 1099 reports and journal entries.
• Assist in payroll processing and related reporting.
• Print and review financial statements for management.
• Assist in year-end tax package preparation and data collection.
• Supervise and train assigned team members.
