Job summary

Miller-Keystone Blood Center in Bethlehem, PA, is seeking a part-time Bloodmobile Driver with CDL to support community blood drives. You will load vehicles, drive to sites, assist with drives, greet donors, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced setting.

Employment includes benefits for part-time staff and a schedule that may include early start times and weekend coverage. The role reports to the Collections Logistics Supervisor in the Collections Department.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B and DOT Medical Card required.
• Experience driving a box truck or larger vehicle preferred.
• Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office and basic tablets/computers.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles with supplies and drive to blood drive locations, set up and assist with drives, then return and unload.
• Greet and assist donors, visitors, and clients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide accurate information, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and respectfully.
• Complete vehicle and blood drive documentation per company standards.
• Perform additional tasks including training and SOP updates, and assist with special projects.

The Part-time Bloodmobile Driver with CDL position in Bethlehem supports MKBC by facilitating successful blood drives within our community. What you will be doing:

• Loading vehicles with necessary supplies, driving to blood drive locations, set up and assist with the blood drive, then pack up, return to the blood center and unload equipment.
• Greeting and assisting donors, visitors, and clients in a friendly yet professional manner.
• Providing accurate information, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and respectfully.
• Completing vehicle and blood drive documentation in accordance with our company's standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, including training, becoming familiar with new/updated SOP's, and assisting with special projects as needed.

What you will bring to the role:

• CDL A or B and DOT Medical card required, and experience driving a box truck or larger vehicle preferred.
• Experience in Outlook, Microsoft office and with basic tablets and computers. (preferred)
• The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) to engage donors and employees of all backgrounds.
• Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, flexibility, and reliability.

• A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center.

Additional information:

This position reports directly to the Collections Logistics Supervisor in the Collections Department and will be located at our Bethlehem center. To best meet the needs of our donors and community, this position works a variable schedule which may include:

Part‑time coverage approximately 3-4 days per week with potential start time between 4am-10am (schedule coverage depending on blood drives and the needs of the team)

Weekend rotation
