Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to promote and process all products and services offered, ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role includes administrative and office support functions, serving customers, internal departments and other branches.

Responsibilities include handling cash, balancing the register, assisting with inquiries, and maintaining knowledge of products. Flexible weekend/holiday hours required with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Has a passion for customer service, and experience engaging customers in Spanish and English.
• Some computer experience using MS Word and Excel, phone, and other office equipment.
• Able to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule (e.g., weekends, holidays, extended working hours) and regular attendance are essential.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all of Ria's products such as money transfers, money orders, selling and buying foreign currency.
• Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information on our systems.
• Courteously assist customers with various inquiries such as questions about our services, service cancellations or other Ria locations.
• Recognize problems, issues or complaints during queries and propose solutions or elevate to the management team.
• Keep up to date with Ria's products, services and policies.
• Balance the cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
• Prepare daily transactions record.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors.
