Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care seeks a part-time bilingual Optician/Clinical Assistant to support senior outpatient clinics in Los Angeles. You’ll assist the optometrist with intake, screenings, eyewear fittings, and portable equipment, using Spanish/English communication.

This role is 2–3 days per week, pays $26 per hour plus mileage reimbursement and travel pay, and operates in a mission-driven setting focused on underserved communities with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician preferred.
• Medical Assisting experience is a plus.
• Bi‑lingual proficiency required.
• Experience serving geriatric or senior populations preferred.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and infection control standards.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Able to lift and transport equipment (typically 25–50 lbs.)
• Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug screening
• Professional, punctual, and able to work independently
• A heart for serving seniors and underserved communities
