LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher in Indiana who will conduct LifeWise classes as needed and support teachers with provided lesson plans. The role requires a mature Christian faith and active church involvement in alignment with our beliefs.

Responsibilities include training completion, maintaining classroom standards, recording attendance, and effective communication with volunteers and the supervising teacher.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith consistent with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise statements.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom per LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
• Keep classroom clean, attractive and well-ordered.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and coordinate with the teacher.
