LifeWise Academy invites qualified substitutes to join our team in Indiana. You will deliver LifeWise lessons, following provided curricula, while maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment.

Ideal candidates demonstrate a mature Christian faith, active church participation, and strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, volunteers, and students. This part-time, hourly role supports our ministry and educational mission.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith (What We Believe)

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Take attendance and provide records to the teacher
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom
• Know procedures for emergencies
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and with the teacher
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
