LifeWise Academy is seeking a substitute teacher to support LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis in Indiana. The ideal candidate demonstrates a mature Christian faith, active church participation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.
• Ability to teach LifeWise curriculum and follow LifeWise policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis and implement provided lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide them to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive classroom and knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and communicate lesson plans with volunteers.
• Coordinate with the teacher and assign duties to volunteers.
