Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher for grades 6-12 who demonstrates strong Bible knowledge, effective teaching, and compassionate care. The role emphasizes faith alignment and active church involvement, with responsibilities including training, lesson planning, and engaging with students in a redemptive classroom environment.

Applicants should have at least two years of teaching experience and be an active church member.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (school or church).
• Active Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters; coordinate with substitute teachers.
• Keep classroom organized, safe, and conducive to learning; manage materials and supplies.
• Communicate with program director, staff, volunteers, and school personnel; share updates and photos.
