Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks part-time teachers for grades 6-12 who will demonstrate Bible knowledge and strong teaching abilities, and who are active church participants with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise's Statement of Faith, and a commitment to LifeWise’s religious mission while engaging students with redemptive discipline and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and parent permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and handle emergency procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and the program director; provide updates and photos as requested.
