Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher for grades 6-12 who can demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and effective teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is caring, committed and proficient in teaching.

Responsibilities include teaching LifeWise classes, completing the required training, maintaining accurate attendance and rosters, and keeping a well-organized classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters.
• Maintain an organized, age-appropriate and redemptive classroom environment.
• Communicate with program director, school personnel and volunteers; share updates and photos.
