Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time secondary education teacher for grades 6-12 who can demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and strong teaching abilities. Ideal candidates will be active church participants with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a caring, committed approach to teaching.

Requirements include at least two years of classroom teaching experience, a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith, and active church involvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and customize lesson plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters; prepare materials for substitute teachers.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and manage age-appropriate classroom environment.
• Communicate with program director, school personnel and volunteers; promote LifeWise's mission.
