Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher for grades 6-12 who can demonstrate Bible knowledge and strong teaching ability. The role emphasizes active church participation, caring demeanor, and excellent communication.

You will work with LifeWise curriculum, maintain student records, and participate in annual LifeWise events. This position supports spiritual growth and relational teaching in a classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church.
• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Participation in a local church aligning with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training with LifeWise certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map lessons.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters, including health notes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and adapt disciplinary approaches redemptively.
• Communicate with program director and community, sharing updates and photos.
